The Promise Keeper Part 1

Have you ever felt on top of the world, like nothing could touch you, and then all the sudden feel like you’re falling off a cliff? Well, the Bible tells us that this is normal! Abram experienced this feeling right after his great victory, but God reminded him not to be afraid. Even Jesus experienced great temptation from the enemy soon after He was baptized. But God speaks encouragement in our times of discouragement. Today, Pastor Michael is going to remind you that God has all things in His control.

A Tale of Two Kings Part 1

The temptations of the world can be very deceiving. The world offers you money, fame, power, and everything that the devil wants you to grab a hold of. It can be easy to take the offer and to turn away from Jesus. However, Jesus wants you to grab ahold of Him. He wants you to tithe to His kingdom, to give Him the power and the glory. Today, Pastor Michael is going to use Abram as an example of how to turn away from the temptations of the enemy. Abram was offered riches and gold, but instead chose God.

A Lot to Learn Part 2

Are you a worshipper of God? Do you find yourself seeking time with the Lord? Listening to worship songs, raising your hands, or getting on your knees are all great ways to show your worship towards God. It doesn’t matter what your worship looks like, but it does matter that you are doing it! If you are struggling with worshipping God all you need to do is to ask for His help. Today, Pastor Michael is going to use Lot as an example of why it is important not only to listen to the voice of God, but to worship him.

A Lot to Learn Part 1

Today, Pastor Michael is going to use Abram as a reminder of how you can turn back to loving God. Abram turned his back towards God. He went to Egypt, and he sinned against God. He even gave away his own wife! But God forgave him, and what did Abram do? He went back to worshipping God. You may feel like you aren’t close to God, or your relationship with God isn’t the same as it used to be. But you can restore that relationship with him! Remember a time that you were close to God and go back to that time.

Faithful or Phony in the Famine? Part 2

Have you ever sinned and felt like you got away with it? You felt like there wasn’t any consequence to your mistake, so you continue to sin. There isn’t always an obvious consequence. Today, Pastor Michael will use Abram as an example of why it is not worth it to run away from God. It seemed that Abram got away with giving up his wife… at the moment. However, he ends up facing the consequences later in his life. It is a good reminder that sin can cause harm not only to you but can to ruin the lives of people you love.

Faithful or Phony in the Famine? Part 1

You feel like you’re doing everything God has called you to do, yet you still feel spiritual starvation. How can you push through this feeling? Today, Pastor Michael is going to use the story of Abram to teach you some valuable lessons about how to follow God in times of famine. Abram turned his back on God when things got tough, but God still provided for Abram through his disobedience. You can learn from Abram that it is worth it to be obedient to God even when you want to turn away.

No Turning Back Part 2

Have you ever considered the story of Jonah and the big fish as a baptism? In the story, you see that Jonah starts by running from God, but emerges from the big fish ready obey Jesus. Similar to being baptized, when he went under the water, his selfishness was drowned away and he emerged different. In today’s message, Pastor Michael will teach you that God wants you to be a radical Christian by living a life of striving to drown out the selfishness of your heart and instead, live for HIS will and purposes.

No Turning Back Part 1

Man, that’s a heavy truth. I don’t know about you, but I have to remind myself that I’m not made for this world, every day. Can you relate to feeling like an outsider? The truth is that as Christians, we ARE outsiders. While the world is making its home here on earth, our home isn’t here, it’s in Heaven. In today's message, Pastor Michael will teach you that you are a pilgrim, simply passing through, living in the in-between until the day comes when you reach your eternal home in heaven.

They Said Yes

Do you know what God is calling you to do with your life? If you do, are you obeying him? It’s not always easy following Jesus. As a matter of fact, Jesus himself said that it would be difficult. Following Jesus, today often means going against the flowing current of culture. The culture that says you should be living for wealth, popularity, and pleasure. A large part of God's relationship with man has been through covenants. There is a common theme in scripture of God making covenants to bless and prosper mankind, even though they continue to rebel and do things their own way. Can you relate? Why would God continue to make these covenants? It’s simple: because he loves them, and he loves you.
