Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. You'd see if their heart was in their spouse, job, children, school, or anything else... Because where our treasure is, that's where our hearts will be also. So where does your treasure lie? In your job? In your spouse? Or is it in Christ? When Christ is the treasure that our hearts follows, we will be blessed greatly.

God created the Earth in six days and on the seventh day, He rested from all the work that He had done. Now, did God need to rest? No, He's God... But right from the genesis of Earth, rest was shown to be a beautiful thing. And while God doesn't need rest, He knew that we as humans certainly do. So take the time to rest and you'll be blessed.

Do you long for the appearing of Jesus? Today, Pastor Michael will be explaining how it's not about how much good work you do for the Lord that gets you the crown of righteousness, but it's simple if you long for His appearing. When you have a longing for the Lord, and an expectation to see Him face to face, you naturally will live to please Him. Those who have this hope in the Lord will keep themselves pure just as He is pure. Living a holy life of purity is the byproduct of someone who believes in His return.
