As a Christian, your sealed with the Holy Spirit for the Day of Redemption and are forgiven of your sins, but He doesn't stop there. The Lord didn't simply save you from Hell, He also desires you to be saved from sin. You are a new creation in Jesus, and it's important that you cooperate with the Holy Spirit so that He can mold you more and more into the image of Jesus.

As Pastor Michael continues his teaching series through the Gospel of Luke, he'll be explaining how there should be a huge contrast between the church and the world. Christians are called to forgive their enemies and even pray for them, but the world desires revenge. Christians are called to a life of purity, but the world celebrates all kinds of sexual sin. As a Christian you're referred to as unleavened because it represents being free from the sinful effects that permeate throughout your life!

Blah, blah, blah Part 1

In today's message, Pastor Michael will share with you about hell and the good news of Jesus Christ. Hell is a real place where all people who have not put their faith and trust into Jesus Christ will go when they pass from this life and into the next... And while most people might think of flames and eternal torment... The real loss is that hell is a place without God. The Bible tells us that God is love, so a place without God is a place without love... And what could be worse than being somewhere without love?

When you hear about the “wrath of God”, you might think of the classic stereotype of God striking someone with lightning... Well in today's message, Pastor Michael will share with you about the real wrath of God and it's got nothing to do with lightning. The wrath of God comes on a person when they've continually rejected Him. God is a loving father who has continually gone above and beyond for His children to accept Him... And when someone constantly rejects God, it grieves Him deeply.

Treasure Part 1

In today's message, Pastor Michael will remind you that there's a lot of truth to the saying, “actions speak louder than words”. Imagine that you go to a seminar on managing money and you learn a lot of great tips... And then you see the person teaching the seminar out gambling all of his money away... Are you really gonna believe what he said? The same is true of our testimonies as Christians. We can talk the talk but we've gotta walk the walk too. If we don't live as ambassadors of Christ, no one cares what we think.

Treasure Part 2

In today's message, Pastor Michael will bring a little bit of perspective to how we as Christians ought to view money. The Bible tells us that the love of money is the root of all sorts of evil in our lives. It's important that we be wise with money, there's nothing wrong with planning for the future... The trouble comes in when we become obsessed with money. When we're constantly never satisfied with how much we have, always comparing ourselves to others, or placing our money above Christ.

Have you noticed how polarized a household becomes when someone decides to become a Christian? Jesus Himself said that there will be a divide between those who follow Him and those who reject Him. Even within a single household, there will be those who persecute their own family members because of following Jesus. Today, Pastor Michael will be encouraging you to follow after the Lord, regardless of the division and persecution you will face. Those who live a godly life, will suffer persecution.

As Pastor Michael continues his teaching series through the Gospel of Luke, he'll be challenging you to live in such a way that proves you believe in the Lord's imminent return. Your actions and behavior reveal what you actually believe about the Lord. You can go to church and you can even pray and read the Bible, but if you're living for the world, you don't actually believe you'll see Jesus face to face. Self-examination to see if you're in the faith is required if you find yourself living in continual, and willful sin.

Treasure Part 3

In today's message, Pastor Michael will share a crucial truth that applies to all areas of life. A man once said that you could find out where a person's heart was after 15 minutes of conversation. You'd see if their heart was in their spouse, job, children, school, or anything else... Because where our treasure is, that's where our hearts will be also. So where does your treasure lie? In your job? In your spouse? Or is it in Christ? When Christ is the treasure that our hearts follows, we will be blessed greatly.
