Kairos moments… God moments. We need to remember the times when God has intervened in our lives. He is always intervening and orchestrating good for those who love Him, but that doesn’t mean you’ll never experience hardship. In fact, you’re going to experience a lot of it. But, as Pastor Michael will remind us in today’s message, God gives us those moments where His hand is clear in our lives to reinforce our faith and help carry us through those dark valleys.

Kairos Moments Part 2

As Pastor Michael continues our study of the book of Luke in today’s message, we’ll come across a Kairos moment – a God moment – that was incredibly profound, yet often gets less time and attention than it deserves in the modern Church. The Transfiguration was a moment that shocked the disciples who were privileged to experience it. They’d seen so many other amazing miracles, yet this is the one that Peter wanted to live in. He wanted to set up tents and just dwell in that God moment.

You need to be purposeful about moments where you’re overwhelmed by God’s presence. You can’t live in that place all the time. We live in a fallen world that’s going to throw as much as it can at us. Satan knows he can’t have God’s Children, but he’ll do his best to rob us of the joy and freedom that we’ve been given. As Pastor Michael will encourage us in today’s message, as you go through the valleys, keep those Kairos moments at the forefront of your mind, remembering God’s faithfulness in all things.

Little me, HUGE GOD Part 1
Tuesday Feb 01, 2022
Tuesday Feb 01, 2022
Humans measure success by an increase in importance, wealth, power, and admirers. You may even begin to feel full of pride just by associating with those who are successful. The disciples did when Jesus was displaying His power in miracles. However, as Pastor Michael explains today, Jesus measures success in a very different way. He wants followers who are humble, kind, sacrificial, and selfless. He wants you to think less of yourself and more of Him and others. When you do, God will bless you for eternity.

When you live like you’re privileged and important, or crave the spotlight for yourself above Jesus and others in the body, that’s a sure sign that you’ve become prideful and distant from God. Today, Pastor Michael will explain how spending time with God will right your perspective on your own importance. The more time you spend in prayer and in the word, you begin to see over and over how amazing God is and how insignificant you really are. But the incredible truth is that despite your insignificance, God loves you abundantly.

Flame Resistant Part 1

Humans often tend to show favor and honor to the powerful, important, pretty people and ignore or mistreat the poor, the unlovely, the helpless. But, as Pastor Michael teaches today, Jesus was the opposite. He loved those who society brushed aside. He served those who were hated and poorly treated. He sacrificed for those who were needy and helpless. As you encounter people in the world around you, how do you treat them? Do you look at them with eyes of love Jesus would have for them?

So often, in Christian circles, an attitude can begin to develop that one must hate a sinner as much as the sin they’re entangled in. On the other hand, some preach acceptance, tolerance, and love which glosses over sin. Today, Pastor Michael will encourage you instead, to treat sinners like Jesus did. Love sinners. But don’t love and condone their sin. Teach them the truth about God and sin, Jesus and salvation in love! Do it from a desire to share eternity with them. Introduce them to the God of love and justice.
