Shame OFF You Part 2

Do you remember a time when you were so upset and faced an extremely difficult circumstance and all seemed lost, but God came through and comforted you? As Pastor Michael continues his teaching series through the Gospel of Luke, he'll be reminding you that you can always go before God's throne of grace, and obtain mercy and grace in time of need. Jesus is your Great High Priest who is constantly making intercession for you! He desires that you cast all your burdens and cares upon Him.

Shame OFF You Part 1

Today, Pastor Michael will be explaining how Jesus is the Passover Lamb, and that when He was being crucified, all throughout Israel lambs were being slaughtered for Passover. The timing of God is perfect, and it's no coincidence that the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, was sacrificed along with those other lambs during this time. The Jewish people were without excuse, God made it very obvious that Jesus was the Messiah. Jesus' sacrifice is once and for all, covering past, present, and future sins.

Keep Your Powder Dry Part 2

It's very clear that the Bible describes two kingdoms at work that are contrary to each other. There's the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of Light. As Pastor Michael continues his teaching series through the Gospel of Luke, he'll be explaining how you can only belong to one of these kingdoms. If you've placed your faith in Jesus for salvation, you've been translated from the kingdom of darkness and brought into the kingdom of Light. There is no middle ground, you're either for the Lord or against Him.

If the Lord were to return right now, would you be ashamed at His coming, or would you rejoice? Today, Pastor Michael will be challenging you to live as though the Lord is returning soon. The early church conducted their lives as though Jesus was returning imminently. How much more should you be expecting His return, now that so many prophecies have been fulfilled? The fact that Israel became a nation again as the Bible prophesied should be enough to cause you to live with earnest expectation.

Take Courage, Believe God! Part 1

As Pastor Michael continues his teaching series through the Gospel of Luke, he'll be explaining how having hope in the Lord's return is extremely powerful. There's a difference between those who believe in the imminent return of Jesus and those who think He's delaying His Coming. Your behavior always lines up with what you truly believe. If you truly believe Jesus can return for you at any moment, you're behavior and decisions will reflect that. Those who have this hope, keep themselves pure just as He is pure.

Take Courage, Believe God! Part 1

Today, Pastor Michael will be challenging you to evaluate yourself, to see if you're living in such a way that seeks to please man or that pleases God. The world, your flesh, and the devil are at constant work, trying to persuade you to disobey God. Don't allow the fear of man and the weakness of your flesh to choose to obey man rather than obeying God. Remember, there's no reason to fear the man who can only harm your physical body, but you should fear God who has your eternity in His hands.

The Judas Dilemma Part 2

As Pastor Michael continues his teaching series through the Gospel of Luke, he'll be exhorting you to seek the Lord in prayer when you're tempted by sin. Jesus, Himself was tempted at all points, yet He never sinned. The Lord is your Great High Priest who intercedes on your behalf in Heaven. Jesus understands temptation, and since He's been victorious over sin, you now have the power to overcome sin. Sin no longer has dominion over you, and when you stumble, He's faithful to forgive you.

The Judas Dilemma Part 1

The whole basis of your walk with the Lord must be grounded in faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Today, Pastor Michael will be encouraging you to take God at His Word and to realize that faith isn't a blind step into a dark room, but it's a step into a well-lit room. It takes more faith to believe that there isn't a God and that you are simply a cosmic accident than it does to believe you were created.

Just Do It

What does having communion with your church mean to you? Is it just a regular Sunday act like the offering or singing praise? Or is it meant to be something more? Today Pastor Michael will bring you along to observe the Lord share a special meal with his disciples. In communion, Jesus calls you to remember that He gave His body for you. It carries personal responsibility for you. You’re meant to participate with reverence, humility, and sincerity while proclaiming Christ's great act of love for you!

Happy New Day Part 2

How often do you take time to see the signs of God, and truly savor them in your life? What words of Jesus give you life and give you hope? Today Pastor Michael will continue reading through the book of Luke where Jesus teaches His disciples the parable of the fig tree. In it, he’ll share some reassuring words in light of things yet to happen in this world. Jesus is coming back one day, but He’s preparing you – you don’t need to dread it! Look for the signs of the time as you wait in joyful anticipation!
