Good Friday Message Part 1

“We're right and they're wrong rallies”...wow, I don't know about you...but, that really hit home to me! So often, we find ourselves so cemented into our ways of thinking and seeing the world that we fail to see the plight of others. Just pause a moment and say that word to yourself. “others”...that's God's intention for you. That as you go about your day, you would have others in mind...put others first...serve others...not yourself. It sounds like a tall order...but, as we'll learn from Pastor Michael today...God is here to help us!

Reset

Let’s face it - the past few years have been rough. Every single person was affected by the pandemic, whether you were actually sick or not. Wouldn’t it be great if we could just hit reset and start over? Maybe you want to hit reset right now, on this part of your life – well…sorry to say, that’s not a real thing. The Shepherd

What comes to mind when you think of the qualities of a great leader? Strength? Power? Influence? Well Pastor Michael shares that Jesus was a great leader in many ways, not just because of those reasons, but more importantly because he loves you, his sheep. And because of that love He can be trusted to lead you as the good Shepard. So, when you lose your way and don’t know which way to turn, rest assured, Jesus has not left or forsaken you. He will lead you back to greener pastures and still waters.

Dunk and Go Nuts

There used to be a guy who attended many of the top sporting events in the country with the message John 3 16. He always found a way to get on camera with a sign that simply stated John 3 16. It was his way of proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ to the world. Well Pastor Michael shares that there is a way that you too can proclaim, not only the good news, but also that you follow Christ. A weird way to the world. But a way that even Jesus participated in and commands us to do as well.

Fight Club

In life we can get into a lot of difficult situations, whether it’s our choice or not. But how do you get out of those situations? Sometimes you really have to fight physically, sometimes mentally, many times both. Pastor Michael shares that no matter the fight or battle you find yourself in there is always hope. How? Well, he explains that when you become a believer in Christ you receive his power and ability to fight the good fight because of the Holy Spirit. The greatest power in the universe.

Radically Dedicated

This world – specifically Satan and his dark forces – are at war against followers of Jesus. The more dedicated you are, the harder they’re going to hit you. It’s not something you can just ignore, but it’s also not something to be afraid of. Through Christ and His Holy Spirit, you have the necessary defenses, and the enemy doesn’t stand a chance. As Pastor Michael will challenge us in today’s message, instead of succumbing to culture, we should stand up in dedication to our Savior and His radical love.
