Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. How are we supposed to respond to the subtle but persistent undertones of wickedness in our culture – from popular movies, tv shows and books, to one of our most celebrated holidays, evil is downplayed at best and at worst, glorified and normalized with media designed for children. Some would argue, “it's just fun! It’s not serious...” But how does that fit with what the Bible teaches us? In today’s message, Pastor Michael will explore this question and offer practical advice for how to respond.
