Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Believe it or not, the Bible actually says that anger is natural and that it's perfectly fine to get angry. However, the stipulation is that we're not to give in to said anger and lash out in fits of rage, violence, or otherwise. Have you been angry enough to be hurtful towards others? In today's message, Pastor Michael reflects on the anger of Jesus, who had every right to be angry, didn't resort to negative acts on that anger. In his study, you'll learn how Jesus redeemed His anger, rather than commit acts of wrath.
