Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Kids love playing hide and seek. It seems like what they love most about it is being found. Well, in today’s message, Pastor Michael talks about how, like Adam and Eve, we all hide from God when we mess up. But, unlike those kids, you’re probably not excited to be found. But God looks for you anyway. He seeks you out because He loves you and doesn’t want you to stay in that place of guilt and shame. He wants you to come into the light, be covered by the work that Jesus did on the cross, and walk closely with Him.
