Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. When you hold onto anger, it builds and builds. It gains intensity and takes up more and more of your heart over time. That snowball of anger and bitterness will destroy your relationships and leave you with shame and regret. Today, Pastor Michael points out the devastating results of anger in the story of Cain and his brother, Abel.
