Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. What comes to mind when you think of the qualities of a great leader? Strength? Power? Influence? Well Pastor Michael shares that Jesus was a great leader in many ways, not just because of those reasons, but more importantly because he loves you, his sheep. And because of that love He can be trusted to lead you as the good Shepard. So, when you lose your way and don’t know which way to turn, rest assured, Jesus has not left or forsaken you. He will lead you back to greener pastures and still waters.
