Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. When you talk about Jesus, what does your voice say about what you are speaking about? Are you using a monotone, boring intonation? Or are you expressing excitement, wonder, and awe? As Pastor Michael shares in today's lesson, HOW you deliver the message of Christ is just as important as the content. Perhaps this could be a new challenge for you. Any time you are talking about God, with a believer or not, use dynamic modulation. Hook your listener with your delivery, and they won't be able not to listen!
