Welcome to the Burning Hearts Podcast! Our heart is to glorify Jesus Christ and draw people closer to Him through explaining Scriptures in a relevant and easy-to-understand way. Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. You need to be purposeful about moments where you’re overwhelmed by God’s presence. You can’t live in that place all the time. We live in a fallen world that’s going to throw as much as it can at us. Satan knows he can’t have God’s Children, but he’ll do his best to rob us of the joy and freedom that we’ve been given. As Pastor Michael will encourage us in today’s message, as you go through the valleys, keep those Kairos moments at the forefront of your mind, remembering God’s faithfulness in all things.
