Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. If you’re driving on an old, winding forest service road, with a steep drop-off on one side, most likely you’re not going to see how close you can get to the edge before falling off. In that case, the outcome is apparent. It’s going to end badly for you. With sin, the outcome may not seem so obvious, but it’s the edge of a cliff. In today’s message, Pastor Michael will encourage us to stay far away from sin. Don’t give it any opportunity to sneak into your life, because before long it’ll explode into a huge problem.
