Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Is it wrong to question God? In the Bible, you often see believers questioning God. The problem is many people often question God with a rebellious un-trusting heart not truly trying to get an answer from the Lord. Today Pastor Michael will be reading through Luke where you will see Jesus being questioned by the Pharisees who try to attack the character of God. It’s one thing to ask God why and another to doubt His goodness and His existence. Do you ever question God or his promise to you?
