Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. How do you answer people who ask you difficult or absurd questions? It's easy to get defensive or even aggressive when your faith is confronted by people who seem like attackers. But God calls us to be better, He calls us to be like his Son Jesus Christ. Today Pastor Michael will share a passage where Jesus is being confronted by attackers, but he doesn’t ridicule them…and neither should you. It’s your job to be patient, loving, and concerned about the souls of those who may be asking you questions about God.
