Welcome to the Burning Hearts Podcast! Our heart is to glorify Jesus Christ and draw people closer to Him through explaining Scriptures in a relevant and easy-to-understand way. Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. As Christians, often times we forget how much Jesus gave up on the cross to save us from our sins. When we become followers of Jesus, we need to be able to give up what He gave up for us. Not our will be done, but His will be done. Today, Pastor Michael wants you to know that if you aren’t letting Jesus take the reins for our life, you aren’t taking the attitude of Christ. As followers of Jesus we need to take on this mindset and be willing to give all of ourselves to Him.
