Welcome to the Burning Hearts Podcast! Our heart is to glorify Jesus Christ and draw people closer to Him through explaining Scriptures in a relevant and easy-to-understand way. Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. We’ve all had moments of looking down on someone. There are times in our life where it’s easy to justify it and we ignore the hurt that it comes along with it. Today, Pastor Michael wants you to know that as Christians we need to look upon the people around us with love. Everyone in this is world is suffering in some way and we need to swallow our pride and talk to people we look down upon to live how Jesus wants us live. Don’t let bitterness consume you, follow Jesus and be free.
