Welcome to the Burning Hearts Podcast! Our heart is to glorify Jesus Christ and draw people closer to Him through explaining Scriptures in a relevant and easy-to-understand way. Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. There are so many distractions in life that have made it so easy to waver away from our faith—especially when we’re downtrodden and at our weakest. It’s just so easy to want to follow the crowd and walk away. Today, Pastor Michael wants you to know that we need to stand strong and not doubt when the going gets tough. If we stand firm in Jesus and who we know Him to be, He will never fail you, He will work everything for your good, and He will never abandon you.
