Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Do you take the time each day to pray unto the Lord? In today's message from Pastor Michael, he shares with you that prayer is vital to the life of a Believer. How are you to be encouraged, to grow in your knowledge of God's Word, and your relationship with Him if you don't take time to pray? Pastor Michael encourages you to keep it simple. You don't need to pray long, drawn-out prayers to God. But like you would any friend, you need to talk and listen to Him. Make prayer a spiritual discipline in your life.
