Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. The whole basis of your walk with the Lord must be grounded in faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Today, Pastor Michael will be encouraging you to take God at His Word and to realize that faith isn't a blind step into a dark room, but it's a step into a well-lit room. It takes more faith to believe that there isn't a God and that you are simply a cosmic accident than it does to believe you were created.
