Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. As Pastor Michael continues his teaching series through the Gospel of Luke, he'll be explaining how having hope in the Lord's return is extremely powerful. There's a difference between those who believe in the imminent return of Jesus and those who think He's delaying His Coming. Your behavior always lines up with what you truly believe. If you truly believe Jesus can return for you at any moment, you're behavior and decisions will reflect that. Those who have this hope, keep themselves pure just as He is pure.
