Welcome to the Burning Hearts Podcast! Our heart is to glorify Jesus Christ and draw people closer to Him through explaining Scriptures in a relevant and easy-to-understand way. Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. The Burning Heart‘s Podcast with Pastor Michael Craft explores the Bible in an exciting way. We pray it ministers to you! When you read through the Old Testament, especially books like Leviticus, it can seem overwhelming. The laws and rituals listed there can seem so needlessly specific and strange. In our modern church culture, we’re often afraid of those kinds of things. We want the freedom to worship how we want. But, as Pastor Michael continues our study in 1st Peter, he’ll draw our attention to the beautiful symbolism that God designed into those rituals. At their core, they all pointed towards redemption in Christ.
