Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Do you long for the appearing of Jesus? Today, Pastor Michael will be explaining how it's not about how much good work you do for the Lord that gets you the crown of righteousness, but it's simple if you long for His appearing. When you have a longing for the Lord, and an expectation to see Him face to face, you naturally will live to please Him. Those who have this hope in the Lord will keep themselves pure just as He is pure. Living a holy life of purity is the byproduct of someone who believes in His return.
