Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Today, Pastor Michael will be explaining how Jesus is the Passover Lamb, and that when He was being crucified, all throughout Israel lambs were being slaughtered for Passover. The timing of God is perfect, and it's no coincidence that the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, was sacrificed along with those other lambs during this time. The Jewish people were without excuse, God made it very obvious that Jesus was the Messiah. Jesus' sacrifice is once and for all, covering past, present, and future sins.
