Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. All throughout scripture, it's recorded that Jesus would reach out to seek and save the lost, even if it meant eating with tax collectors and sinners. Today, Pastor Michael will be explaining how Jesus showed no partiality and had compassion for everyone. As a follower of Jesus, do you also show compassion to everyone? You're commissioned to preach the Gospel and to make disciples, not minister only to the people you “like” or think are worthy of your time and efforts.
