Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Did you know that the Church is seen as the bride of Christ? As you listen to today's message from Pastor Michael, you learn that the Church is referenced in the Bible as a bride. A bride is usually all dressed in white, dazzling, and beautiful. Because of the finished work of Jesus, those who believe in Him make up the church. Jesus has sacrificed Himself to make His bride righteous, holy, and without blemish. Pastor Michael encourages the body of believers, by letting them know that God sees them as beautiful!
