Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Today on Burning Hearts, Pastor Michael reviews Paul’s writing to the Philippians. The Apostle Paul explains that we are all experiencing the same agony. Not that we will all experience the exact same struggles, but we will feel the same sadness as long as we are living earthly lives. But what if you could view the agony as a blessing? Instead of letting it tear you down, becoming bitter and resentful; you could view it as a way to show your unbreakable allegiance to the Lord?
