Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. In today's message, Pastor Michael will share with you about the parable of the soils. In this parable, Jesus compares people to different types of soil. While some are fertile and sustainable, others are infertile and aren't capable of sustaining. As followers of Jesus, we want to be the fertile and sustainable soil. When we grow strong in our relationship with the Lord, we can in turn help to spread the seed of the Gospel to those around us and help to create fertile soil. The Gospel of Jesus never goes out in vain.
