Welcome to the Burning Hearts Podcast! Our heart is to glorify Jesus Christ and draw people closer to Him through explaining Scriptures in a relevant and easy-to-understand way. Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. If you're a Christian, Jesus should be of the utmost importance in your life. However, there are always other things in life that will fight for that 1st place spot in your life. Things like money, fame, and relationships can start to infringe on your relationship with Jesus. The things of this world are fleeting, no matter how hard we try they won't fill any voids in our lives. Jesus was there before the beginning of time and He'll be with us in eternity forever... He can fill the void in our lives that so much else has failed to fill.
