Welcome to the Burning Hearts Podcast! Our heart is to glorify Jesus Christ and draw people closer to Him through explaining Scriptures in a relevant and easy-to-understand way. Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. When is the last time you helped someone else? Often times we love the idea of helping others, but when the rubber meets the road, we find every excuse to get out of it. In today’s message, Pastor Isam wants you to know that if you want to grow closer to God and experience His love in a deeper way, be an impact on others around you. Don’t just help when it’s convenient for you. Go out of your way and make an effort to be a positive force in the lives of those around you. Just as Jesus did.
