Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Imagine being a part of God's chosen people, the Israelites, only to reject an invitation to have a grand feast with His Son. Well, unfortunately, as both history and The Bible tell us, this is exactly what happened. Thankfully for us, God is extended that invitation to all who would come. In today's message, Pastor Michael reflects on the parable of the feast. In his study, you'll gain a better understanding of each detail in the parable, and how it foretold the Jews rejecting Jesus, only for the Gentiles to accept.
