Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. 1 Corinthians chapter 13 can seem like an impossible task. Who could be patient and kind and not keep a record of wrong and not boast about it either? But God never calls us to something we are not able to accomplish. If you are looking for the perfect embodiment of love, look no further than God himself. Today, Pastor Michael shows us that God is an example for us. He shows his patience for us countless times, but one colossal way was his suffering on the cross. Jesus endured because of love.
