Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Abraham was instructed on how to build an altar, where to build it, and what to sacrifice in order for his sins to be covered. You have Jesus that has made a once and for all sacrifice for your past, present, and future sins! The blood of Jesus is sufficient to forgive sins, not simply cover them for a time like the animal sacrifices in the Old Testament.
