Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. To sacrifice something means to allow something to be put to death that's meaningful and important. Today, Pastor Michael will be explaining how God has called you to be a living sacrifice, not a dead sacrifice. To be a living sacrifice means to put to death your flesh, but to be alive in Jesus. When you're being a living sacrifice, it means you living your life to the fullest in Jesus and being obedient to His Word. When you put to death your flesh nature, that's when you're truly living a fulfilled life.
