Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Humans measure success by an increase in importance, wealth, power, and admirers. You may even begin to feel full of pride just by associating with those who are successful. The disciples did when Jesus was displaying His power in miracles. However, as Pastor Michael explains today, Jesus measures success in a very different way. He wants followers who are humble, kind, sacrificial, and selfless. He wants you to think less of yourself and more of Him and others. When you do, God will bless you for eternity.
