Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Jesus commissioned His disciples to go to the ends of the earth spreading the Good News of salvation and redemption through trusting in Him. He did so many good things with His life – healing the sick, feeding the hungry, sharing practical advice – but none of that would matter if it weren’t for His ultimate good act. And good is a huge understatement. In today’s message, Pastor Michael will remind us that sharing the Good News of Jesus should be at the center of everything we do.
