Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Most of us probably know who Princess Diana is and if you’ve seen her on television, chances are you’ve seen someone bend down and kiss her ring. As Christians, we know that Jesus is king, but do we really grasp the full meaning of this? Today, Pastor Michael wants to remind us that we need to treat Jesus with the same reverence as princesses and kings on earth. He is sovereign over-all. We need to go beyond just knowing that we are saved, bend down, and kiss His ring.
