Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. If the Lord were to return right now, would you be ashamed at His coming, or would you rejoice? Today, Pastor Michael will be challenging you to live as though the Lord is returning soon. The early church conducted their lives as though Jesus was returning imminently. How much more should you be expecting His return, now that so many prophecies have been fulfilled? The fact that Israel became a nation again as the Bible prophesied should be enough to cause you to live with earnest expectation.
