Welcome to the Burning Hearts Podcast! Our heart is to glorify Jesus Christ and draw people closer to Him through explaining Scriptures in a relevant and easy-to-understand way. Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. In our culture, there are many different assumptions that non-Christians make as to what being part of a church looks like. Often times these assumptions are negative and many of us choose to do nothing. Today, Pastor Michael reminds us that as Christians, we need to do more than just believe in Jesus if we truly want to be His church. Instead of ignoring people who challenge us, we need to listen to them and truly take to heart what they are saying. Everyone deserve God’s grace.
