Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. As Pastor Michael continues our study of the book of Luke in today’s message, we’ll come across a Kairos moment – a God moment – that was incredibly profound, yet often gets less time and attention than it deserves in the modern Church. The Transfiguration was a moment that shocked the disciples who were privileged to experience it. They’d seen so many other amazing miracles, yet this is the one that Peter wanted to live in. He wanted to set up tents and just dwell in that God moment.
