Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. You've likely heard the phrase, sometimes the good in life steals away the best in life. This is the idea Pastor Michael shared in today's message. Martha was going a good thing by preparing a meal for Jesus and His disciples, but she was missing out on the best, sitting at Jesus' feet. You can experience this in ministry as well. While you are working to present a good worship service or Bible study- you miss out on developing meaningful Christ-filled relationships.
