Welcome to the Burning Hearts Podcast! Our heart is to glorify Jesus Christ and draw people closer to Him through explaining Scriptures in a relevant and easy-to-understand way. Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. The Kingdom of God is full of people from every race, nationality, and ethnicity. It’s a beautifully diverse group. As Pastor Michael stresses the importance of being plugged into the Church, he’ll remind us of the way this community of believers transcends cultural boundaries. If you find yourself hating or disliking people because of where they’re from, their skin color, or their language, God has some serious work to do on your heart. That isn’t acceptable in His Kingdom.
