Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. In today's message, Pastor Michael will remind you that Jesus didn't associate with who you might think He would. You might think that Jesus would be spending His time with other religious leaders but that wasn't really the case. Jesus spent His time with the marginalized people in His time. Jesus was with the tax collectors, prostitutes, sick, divorced, and so much more. As followers of Christ, we can follow in His footsteps. We too can care for and share with the marginalized around us as Jesus did.
