Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Do you feel unfulfilled in your life? What does it mean to be fulfilled, anyways? As Pastor Michael will point out in today’s message, when you’re focused on making yourself feel good, safe, and comfortable, you’ll never get there. There’ll always be something better, just out of reach. But, when you focus your time, attention, and resources on serving Jesus and others, even when you end up with nothing left, you’ll find your soul as satisfied as it can be in this fallen world.
