Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. As Pastor Michael will point out in today’s message, in our spiritual journeys, all of us wander off a bit at times. It always results in unnecessary pain and anguish. If you’ve trusted in Jesus for salvation, you can trust that He’s covered all your sins and mistakes and that your eternity is secure, but He wants better for you in this life too. He wants to light your path and lead you into a victorious, joy-filled life. It breaks His heart to see His followers living as though the chains of sin were never broken.
