Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. It’s one thing to forgive someone else when they’ve messed up, but it can be really hard to let go of your own guilt and shame.
Well, today’s study is all about grace- how it doesn’t make sense to us. How God freely and generously offers it to us. And how it can be hard to accept. But, as Pastor Michael reminds you, God is relentless in His love for you. There’s no such thing as a lost cause or a hopeless case with Him. He sees you, knows everything about you, and still reaches out. So say yes to His love and grace today.
