Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. In the last message, Pastor Michael began his explanation on what it means to “Grab the Bull by it’s horns and the dove every morning.” Grabbing the Bull meant accepting our sinful nature and our need for a savior. In today’s message, he continues by explaining that “grabbing the dove every morning” means reminding ourselves of God’s grace in our lives. None of us can be redeemed by our own standing or works; it’s only through the Grace of God that we have the gift of salvation, we can’t forget that!
