Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Some Christians take such a stand against sin that they hate and terrorize the sinner. Some Christians on the other hand have grown so used to sin in our culture that sin is tolerated and even celebrated today. Today, Pastor Michael will explain God’s true view of sin and sinners – He loves sinners, He hates sin. He does not tolerate or condone any sin. But He loves sinners so much He wants to free them from bondage to sin and save their souls. So He sent Jesus to take the penalty for sin in order to make sinners right with God again.
