Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. If you ask your child to mow the lawn and they take a haphazard swipe at it, are you pleased? Are you satisfied if you order a whole meal and only receive the fries? Do you rejoice if you pay for a full hour of parking, but the meter runs out after a few minutes? When you receive less than expected, you are not amused. Why would you think that God is pleased with less than he expects? Today Pastor Michael shows us that God's bar is incredibly high. He's looking for followers who are all in, all the time.
